Western Depot gets a new TV Aerial
There is a simple explanation for this: Today was the depot's BBQ for its volunteers and by chance, it happened to coincide with the England - Sweden world cup match, which called for some improvisation to provide the means of viewing it, or the tennis, or the F1!
Reg and Ron drove the BBQ's, whilst a fine spread of food was laid on by the ladies. The yard shed provided shelter from the intense sun, protecting especially, the barrel of Stroud Brewery fine ale.
It was commented on by more than one person, that it was difficult sometimes to recognise people when they are not in their work gear and CCT vis vest!
A pleasant time was had by all and thanks must go to all those that contributed to the event.
