Western Depot - Today

Despite many volunteers having run away to partake in the HLF visit today, there was still plenty going on in and around the yard.

In the new welfare caravan, the electrics were being worked on, together with other interior fittings.  It is looking quite smart in there now.  A large table has been sourced for free.

Out in the warm sunshine, an outboard and a strimmer were receiving a service.  The fuel bowser has had its crumpled fuel hose removed and replaced with a proper rubber hose, which is also a couple of metres longer.  This should be far easier to handle.

Workboat Mole has had a hand operated bilge pump fitted.  Early on, a van departed for Inchbrook, where a large supply of wood awaited collection from a property on the hillside.  Later, a full load of wood arrived back and was soon in the process of splitting.
