Pat's Progress

All the name/safety plates having been removed a week ago or so, have been taken away for refurbishment.  All were quite scruffy and battered with their backs crusty and corroded.

The first operation has been to clean off the corrosion and then fettle the aluminium flat where it was bent and distorted.
A coat of an appropriate primer has been applied.  The next operation is to repaint the front faces which will be a much slower task requiring a steady hand.
Tomorrow is another team working party on the boat.  So much is happening now that, from the outside, big changes are taking place.  A date for shot blasting and painting the hull has also been set. (weather permitting)
