Tuesday saw us at Wallbridge Lower Lock. The main task was to rebuild a block work retaining wall that has failed.
Other tasks included moving the top stop planks down from the fish pass, fitting a wrought iron gate and pulling out some evil Himalayan Balsam.
The new stop plank location made for an excellent lunchtime photo opportunity.
Somewhat surprisingly, we had a visit from the cast of Last Of The Summer Wine who took work boat Wookey Hole for a short joyride to facilitate some weed spraying at Brewery Wall.
