Harper's Field

by: Dave C.

Work continues at pace in Harper's Field. This week saw Andy J work his magic with the mini-digger by completing a gun barrel straight trench with a smooth curve to the future location between where the Welfare Unit will go and the servicing bay for the plant (whenever it gets here).
In keeping with the Total Quality approach, the CCT Artist in Residence set about making the storage container beautiful, well much better than the eyesore it was before she started. The picture shows the first application of paint following extensive clean and scrubbing.

But outstanding effort of the week must go to the Wookey Hole crew, who after being given a brief explanation of what was required cleared the canal bank of reeds and scrub almost filling Aquila to overflowing.  To see how much they achieved in one day was gobsmacking.
