It's been a while since our last report. The holidays & weather have interrupted progress a bit. We're currently working on the engine cover, far more work than just fitting the engine!
There are four hinged ventilation covers which can be opened to help cool the engine, if required. These need securing when the boat is moored up, so a robust locking mechanism is essential. The design has morphed as concepts develop. Suffice to say, we now have a plan to follow and one which will require no external locks, unlike the original cover with its lift up flaps.
