With a big push and the sun on our backs, we've completed the somewhat involved build of the the engine cover. Today, the locking pin into the cab, the last ventlialtion cover, ventilation covers at each end, stand off supports for each lid, fibre-glassing the edges and welding the roller bearing bolts for security were all completed.
All that remains now is to apply the paint, which will be Wednesday's job. Oh. and a good tidy-up wouldn't go amiss!
A celebratory cup of tea was taken at 3:30.
