This morning, our volunteers attended a Volunteers Conference at Frampton on Severn village hall. The event attracted a wide range of our workers involved in the day to day running of the CCT's & SDC's activities.
Presentations were given on a number of key subjects: In addition to better understanding SDC's involvement in leading the HLF Phase 1B, implementation and delivery, we learnt about SVCC's activities and business operation, our partnerships, sustainability, H&S, fundraising and much more.
Primarily, it was a 2 way interaction of Q&A's for the volunteers to get those bugging questions answered. It was all agreed that communication was key - a common conclusion in many organisations!
